Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a dealer's shoe. Cards valued less than ten are worth their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the 'banker', the 'player', or for a tie (these aren't actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the 'bank' and 'gambler'. The total for every hand is the total of the two cards, although the first digit is dropped. For example, a hand of five and six has a value of one (5 plus six equals eleven; dump the 1st 'one').

A 3rd card could be given out based on the following rules:

- If the player or banker achieves a score of eight or nine, both players hold.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, she hits. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player holds, the bank hits on five or lower. If the player hits, a table is employed to decide if the bank holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (equal cash less a 5% commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you leave the game so ensure you have funds left over before you leave). Winning bets on the gambler pays one to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays eight to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)

Played correctly punto banco offers relatively good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games punto banco has a handful of accepted misconceptions. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future events. Keeping score of previous outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and possibly the most accomplished plan is the one, three, two, six plan. This technique is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.

Begin by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. If you win you will now have six on the game table, remove 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd wager. Should you succeed on the third bet, deposit 2 to the four on the game table for a grand total of six on the fourth round.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st round followed by a loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a defeat on the third gives you with a profit of two. And success on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning all four wagers leaves you with 12, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to squander the 2nd round five times for each successful streak of 4 bets and still are even.
