Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued less than ten are counted at face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the 'banker,' the 'player' or for a tie (these aren't actual contenders; they strictly portray the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be played to the 'banker' ... 'player'. The total for every hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven ... 5 results in a total of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the '1').

A third card can be dealt depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the gambler or banker has a tally of eight or nine, both players stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart is used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores is the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay at nineteen to 20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so make sure to have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie customarily pay eight to 1 but on occasion 9 to one. (This is an awful gamble as ties occur less than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are decidedly better - 9 to one versus 8 to 1)

When played correctly, baccarat provides fairly good odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not an actual indicator of future happenings. Tracking of prior results on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper ... a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful technique is the 1-three-two-six method. This schema is employed to amplify winnings and limiting risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don't win on the first wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
