Baccarat Chemin de Fer Practices and Method
Baccarat Rules
Punto banco is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are worth their printed value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the 'banker', the 'player', or for a tie (these aren't really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the 'house' and 'player'. The score for every hand is the sum of the 2 cards, although the 1st number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of 1 (5 plus 6 equals 11; dump the initial 'one').
A 3rd card will be given out using the rules below:
- If the player or banker has a value of eight or 9, the two players stay.
- If the player has five or less, she takes a card. Players otherwise hold.
- If the gambler stands, the bank takes a card on a total less than 5. If the player hits, a chart is employed to determine if the banker stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds
The larger of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the house pay out 19 to 20 (equal cash minus a five percent rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you leave the game so be sure to still have cash remaining before you depart). Winning wagers on the gambler pay one to one. Winning wagers for tie normally pay eight to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a bad wager as ties occur lower than one in every 10 hands. Avoid gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 versus eight to one)
Wagered on correctly baccarat provides generally decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Punto Banco Scheme
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of accepted myths. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past isn't a fore-teller of future events. Recording past outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.
The most accepted and probably the most favorable method is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This technique is used to maximize profits and limit risk.
Start by betting one dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the game table for a sum total of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will hold six on the game table, pull off four so you are left with two on the 3rd round. If you succeed on the third wager, add 2 on the four on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth round.
Should you do not win on the 1st wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the initial bet followed by a loss on the second causes a hit of 2. Wins on the initial two with a defeat on the third provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Succeeding at all 4 bets gives you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you are able to lose the second bet five instances for each favorable run of four rounds and in the end, break even.
