Baccarat Practices and Plan
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Regulations
Punto banco is gambled on with eight decks in a dealer's shoe. Cards under ten are counted at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are placed on the 'banker', the 'player', or on a tie (these aren't really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the 'house' and 'gambler'. The total for every hand is the sum of the two cards, but the first number is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a score of one (five plus six = 11; dump the first 'one').
A third card can be given based on the following rules:
- If the player or house achieves a value of 8 or 9, the two players hold.
- If the player has five or less, she hits. Players otherwise stay.
- If the gambler holds, the bank hits on a value less than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a table is employed to determine if the bank stays or hits.
Punto Banco Odds
The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the house payout 19 to 20 (even payout less a 5% commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off when you quit the table so make sure you still have cash left over just before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie typically pays 8:1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every ten rounds. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one versus 8 to 1)
Gambled on correctly punto banco provides generally good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Punto Banco Strategy
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some established misunderstandings. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Keeping score of previous outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.
The most common and likely the most successful method is the one, three, two, six tactic. This tactic is employed to pump up profits and limit losses.
Begin by placing 1 dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 units on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have six on the table, take away 4 so you are left with 2 on the third bet. Should you win the third bet, deposit two on the 4 on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th round.
If you don't win on the first bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the 1st round followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a take of two. And wins on the initial three with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning all four bets gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd round five instances for each favorable streak of 4 bets and in the end, balance the books.
