Punto Banco Rules and Plan
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Policies
Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at face value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are made on the 'banker', the 'player', or on a tie (these aren't really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the 'house' and 'player'. The value for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For example, a hand of five and six has a score of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; dump the first 'one').
A 3rd card will be given out using the following rules:
- If the player or banker has a score of 8 or nine, both players stand.
- If the gambler has less than 5, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.
- If the gambler holds, the banker hits on five or less. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to decide if the banker stays or takes a card.
Baccarat Odds
The larger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out nineteen to Twenty (even payout minus a five percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you quit the game so be sure to have cash left just before you depart). Winning wagers on the player pays one to one. Winning bets for tie usually pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs less than one in every ten rounds. Avoid betting on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 vs. eight to one)
Played correctly baccarat chemin de fer offers generally good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Method
As with all games baccarat banque has a few familiar misunderstandings. One of which is close to a absurdity in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping score of previous results on a chart is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.
The most accepted and probably the most favorable plan is the one, three, two, six tactic. This method is used to build up winnings and limit losses.
Begin by wagering 1 dollar. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold 6 on the game table, subtract four so you have 2 on the third round. Should you succeed on the 3rd bet, put down two to the four on the game table for a total of six on the fourth round.
If you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the first round followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a hit of 2. Wins on the initial 2 with a hit on the third provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the initial 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all four wagers leaves you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you can give up the second round 5 times for each favorable streak of 4 wagers and in the end, break even.
