Punto Banco Practices and Plan
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Regulations
Baccarat chemin de fer is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the 'banker', the 'player', or on a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the 'bank' and 'player'. The value for each hand is the total of the cards, however the first number is dumped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a score of one (5 plus six = 11; dump the first 'one').
A additional card will be given out depending on the rules below:
- If the player or bank achieves a total of eight or 9, the two players hold.
- If the player has five or lower, he hits. Players stays otherwise.
- If the player holds, the bank takes a card on 5 or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to figure out if the house stays or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The better of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19:20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are recorded and cleared out once you leave the game so make sure you still have money left over before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie typically pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen less than 1 in every ten hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)
Bet on properly baccarat chemin de fer gives pretty decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Course of Action
As with all games Baccarat has a few accepted myths. One of which is similar to a misconception in roulette. The past isn't a harbinger of events about to happen. Recording previous outcomes on a sheet of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.
The most accepted and probably the most acknowledged method is the one, three, two, six technique. This tactic is employed to maximize winnings and limit losses.
Start by placing one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you win you will hold 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you are left with 2 on the 3rd round. If you come away with a win on the 3rd round, put down 2 on the four on the game table for a total of six on the 4th round.
Should you don't win on the initial wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first wager followed by a loss on the second creates a loss of two. Success on the 1st two with a defeat on the third gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the 1st three with a loss on the 4th means you are even. Succeeding at all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd round 5 times for every successful run of four wagers and still are even.
